Deep and rich, with notes of wild berries, forest, field herbs, various spices, light barrel smoke.

Taste

Full of red and juicy forest fruit, with a full body involving solid tannins and excellent acidity giving a lot of freshness and persistence.

Production Process

Total de-stemming and prolonged, smoother skin maceration. Fermentation in a mechanical mill at 26ºC for 10 days.

Ageing

16 months in new 500 liter French oak barrels

Gastronomical suggestion

Intense and vibrant, this red wine harmonizes with regional cuisine, with ideal acidity to handle fatty or well-seasoned meats, such as pork or lamb.

Observations

With all the balance to be enjoyed young, it will evolve very well in the bottle over at least a decade.
