This wine is produced exclusively from grapes from the Quintada Ramalhosa, in the Dão region, Besteiros sub-region, characterized by damp mornings and mild temperatures
The mild temperatures of the Tondela area, where the effect of the Tondela dam gives the wines a unique character.
An elegance that sets them apart from other wines in the region.
Vinification:
Grapes harvested by hand, transported in boxes of 20 kg, transported in 20 kg boxes, to the winemaker located inside the vineyard, where they are harvested.
The harvest is total, with prolonged skin maceration at fermentation temperatures
The wine remains in stainless steel for 6 months and then is bottled
The union of these two varieties, reveals a unique Dão identity, where the Alfrocheiro gives it the acidity and the Touriga Nacional the body.
Tasting notes:
The Alfrocheiro and Touriga Nacional grape varieties are the opposites involved in a delicious wine, where where elegance and rusticity embrace each other, the aroma of eggplant are revealed in a complex bouquet.
These are two varieties that are present in the Dão region, and for us with a prominent place in our wines and vineyards.
